Smoothing & rebuilding
One straightens, one rebuilds, the rest sit in between. Which one is right depends on your hair, what has been done to it before, and what you want from it. That is decided at the consultation, not from a menu.
Tops up the keratin your hair is built from, closes the cuticle and leaves the hair smooth, glossy and quicker to dry. Less frizz, less time with the dryer.
Straightens harder than keratin, gentler than nanoplastia. The one smoothing treatment on this list that works on lightened hair.
A formaldehyde-free straightening treatment based on acids and amino acids. Restructures the hair so it sits straight, with natural movement and shine. It often lifts the colour by one to three tones, which most clients love, but you should know before you book.
A deep protein rebuild for damaged, bleached or porous hair. Cysteine, argan oil and collagen are sealed into the hair for softness and shine. Curls stay curly, they just look and feel far better. No injections, no botulinum toxin, nothing medical about it, just the name the trade uses.
Rebuilding with light smoothing, based on keratin, jojoba oil and tamarind. A little of both rather than a full straightening service.
Rule
Nanoplastia does not go on bleached hair. If your hair has been lightened and you ask for it, I will say no and explain why. That is not the end of the conversation: collagen straightening is made for lightened hair and gets you properly straight, and hair botox is there if the hair needs rebuilding more than straightening.

Every colour service includes a deep conditioning treatment. Every lightening service has bond protection added to the lightener, collagen, Olaplex or a protein treatment, to limit the damage while the hair is being lightened.

About
Hair was what I loved as a child, but life kept pointing me elsewhere. Then I had nanoplastia done, fell for it completely, and knew I wanted to do these treatments myself. After that it snowballed: I went deep into smoothing and rebuilding, then added courses in colouring and cutting.
I have not sat back since. I am still training, still testing new products, still looking for what works better than what I used last year. If there is something better out there for your hair, I want to be the one who already knows about it.
I teach because these treatments are still barely known here in the UK. I want other stylists to grow, to add something new to what they offer, and to have their own clients walk out with hair they did not think they could have. Every woman deserves that Hollywood hair.
Every appointment here is yours alone. No double booking, no waiting while another client is rinsed, no rushing. We start with a proper look at your hair, what has been done to it before and what you want from it, and only then decide on the treatment. Sometimes that means telling you the treatment you came in for is the wrong one for your hair. I would rather say that than take the booking.
Training runs the same way: one stylist at a time, the whole day built around her, her hands and her questions. Individual attention is the point, in the salon and in teaching.
For the smoothing treatments I work on BB|One professional systems. Their lines are formaldehyde-free, which matters to me because I breathe the same air as my clients, all day, every day. For colour and for rebuilding work I do not tie myself to one brand. I pick the line that suits the hair in front of me.

That is what the consultation is for. In short: bleached or highlighted hair points to hair botox, never nanoplastia. Healthy, never-lightened curly hair that wants to be properly straight points to nanoplastia. Wavy hair that wants sleek and glossy points to keratin. Hair that wants condition with a little smoothing points to bioplastia. Send a photo on WhatsApp and I will tell you what I think before you book.
For colour, yes, at least 48 hours before the appointment. For smoothing treatments it depends on the product; where the manufacturer asks for one, we do one, properly, and record it. A patch test that is skipped or done for show protects nobody.
Keratin smoothing 3 to 6 months, nanoplastia 6 to 10 months, hair botox and bioplastia 2 to 4 months. Aftercare decides a lot of that, which is why you go home with it in writing.
Nanoplastia is the one treatment my supplier officially lists as suitable during pregnancy. It is sold as organic straightening and contains no formaldehyde or its derivatives. Keratin smoothing, collagen straightening and hair botox contain none of those either, but the manufacturer does not state one way or the other, so I do not put them on a client who is pregnant or breastfeeding. Whichever way we go, the final decision is yours together with your midwife or GP, not mine.
Every treatment I do rinses out the same day, so there is no walking around for 48 hours with the product still in your hair and no waiting to wash it. Keratin, nanoplastia, hair botox, bioplastia: you can wash straight away. All of them: sulphate-free shampoo from then on. You get the full card in writing.

No. Courses are 1-to-1 and built around your level, and complete beginners are welcome. One honest note: if you are new to the industry, ask your insurer what they need from you before offering chemical services to the public. I will help you with the questions to ask.
You receive a certificate of completion from Beauty Hive, together with the printed manual and workbook. Whether an insurer accepts it as sufficient for cover depends on the insurer and your existing qualifications, so check with them before you book.
